OCTOBER BRINGS NEW HOURS OF OPERATION FOR ARIN'S HOUSE: We are open Monday through Thursday from 2:30pm-7:30pm. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT CONTRIBUTED SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO OUR 4th ANNUAL SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE! We were able to distribute supplies to the following schools: Aloha High, Aloha Huber Park, Barnes, Beaver Acres, Five Oaks, Kiinnaman, McKinley, Meadow Park, Mountain View, Vose, Whitford, Wiliam Walker and also to the Sunshine Pantry. VOTE AGAINST HUNGER FOOD DRIVE (10/1/08-11/11/08). Members, Volunteers and the community are invited to bring non perishable food items to Arin's House to contribute to the Sunshine Panty and assist families in the Beaverton Area. POTLUCK IN THE PARK Is This Sunday October 5th, 2008 Meet @ Arin's House @ 1:30pm. Please join as this Sunday to help set up, serve a meal, distribute clothing, toiletries and clean up. Families are encouraged to join in the fun. 2nd ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARTY & OPEN HOUSE Saturday, October 25th, 2008 2pm-4:30pm Costumes are encouraged, food, games and fun for all ages. Hope everyone had a great Summer! School is back in Session and Arin's House returns to it's afterschool program schedule. We are Open Monday-Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm. We are closed on Fridays to support local school sports actitivies. We have resources available for homework help, a daily snack and nightly dinner. Recreation Area, Computer Lab, Recording Studio, Music Jam Room & Crafting Classes. Our Benefit Concert Family Day is Sunday 9/14/08 2:00pm-6:00pm @ Arin's House Featuring: The Accoustic Renegade Saints, Peter Bach & Kerosene Dream Trio. $5/admission. **** SCHEDULE CHANGE IMPROV CLASS WILL BEGIN SATURDAY 10/4/08 @ 10 AM RATHER THAN THIS SATURDAY 9/27. Our 4th Annual School Supply Drive Wrapped up 9/20/08. If we missed your donation, we apologize for our oversight and will be happy to make arrangements to pick it up. Dollar Tree Stores on SW Walker Road and NW Cornell Road that helped collect supplies on our behalf. Office Max for their donation of supplies. Alliance Packaging for their contribution of boxes. Weyerhauser for providing us with paper bags. All the volunteers that stapled bags, dropped off bags,and helped pick up and sort donations.
