Arin B. was killed in a car accident on March 21, 2004. He loved music, sports, learning, art, computers, video games and making friends with everyone he met. He had an enthusiasm about life that was contagious. He was known to make his friends, teachers and family laugh with his silly requests, "Can I have a dollar or a cookie? Because I'm Pretty?." His smile was contagious and he genuinely cared for everyone he became acquainted with. Arin had the ability to connect with anyone in a moment (whether they were 1 or 80). Although our lives have been forever changed by his passing, we also recognize how much fuller they have been because Arin taught us so many important lessons. We wanted to continue to reach out to others the way that Arin did and represent his memory. That is why Arin's friends and family decided to create "Arin's House, A Teen Center" (a 501(c)3 non profit organization). We collectively transformed our grief into hope. We found a way to reach out to the community and "represent" in the best way possible.
Arin was a best friend to many. He has inspired us to: ~Do better ~Love Deeper ~Reach out more often ~Hug more people ~And smile bigger |
